A DESIGNER'S GUIDE TO FAUX PLANTS

If you're anything like me, you love the look of greenery and plants around the house, but keeping those plant babies alive? Forget about it! I don't have a green thumb to save my life, sadly, but I know I'm not alone - it's definitely a concern that clients have as well. As much as we might prefer to have real plants, the reality is that we don't always have the time or the proper home conditions to keep them alive and thriving.

For example, the beloved Olive tree is native to the Mediterranean so they can tolerate dry air - great if you live in Canada or the North Eastern US like me - BUT they also require up to 6 hours of sunlight a day, so unless you're #blessed with southern facing windows that's going to be tough to achieve.

Still - reasons like that shouldn't prevent us from achieving that same look! Luckily, artificial plants have really come a long way and today I'm sharing my favorite faux sources. Click on the photos below for links :)
